Does anybody know any good roguelikes with actual graphics? Even basic graphics would be fine, but it hurts my eyes to look at ASCII for too long :(
I found one on the SNES, but it's an import... and I've still been too lazy to study Japanese for any length of time.

There are a whole bunch of Nethack variants that have graphics. (Falcon's Eye, Slash 'Em, QT Nethack, etc.)
As for console games, the only thing that comes to mind is Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon (PS1), and maybe Diablo.

Dragon Crystal (GG/SMS) is a pretty good dungeon crawler.
For PC, I consider pretty much any Diablo clone (Darkstone, NOX, Sacred, the Divinity series) to fit the bill. Also, Angband and the dozens of variants for it support replacing the ASCII with crude tiles. I'd recommend Zangband as one of the most extensive Angband updates in existence. I also played quite a bit of Castle of the Winds (old shareware), but I remember it as being really simplistic by comparison to most roguelikes out there.
Also, on the indie PC developers side, I can vouch for Mordor: the Depths of Dejenol and I've heard good things about Demise: Rise of The Ku'Tan, though they're probably a bit more like Wizardry than you might want.
On consoles, besides Chocobo's Mysterious Dungeon 2 (already mentioned) you have the Nightmare of Druaga (PS2), Torneko: The Last Hope (PS1), Ehrgeiz's (PS1) quest mode, Azure Dreams (PS1). You might also consider the Evolution games (GC and DC), but thats stretching the "roguelike" definition. That's all that I can think of, but I know there are a ton of imports, if that's an option for you, and I've heard of a couple on X-Box, which is a system I don't really try to keep up on.
I'd also recommend you just go to Home of the Underdogs, because you can look at a Roguelike subcategory in their RPG section.
EDIT: http://www.roguelikedevelopment.org/ ,all PC based, but it goes into detail on a few I know Underdogs doesn't even touch.

I recommend 'Omega'. I'm not sure if all versions have graphics, but the Amiga version I played did, and it was a way cool game. It's like Rogue/Nethack, but with a plot and a much larger world to explore - multiple dungeons, an overworld, etc. Fun game. Plus, you could optionally generate your character by answering a quiz about yourself.
edit - oh yeah, don't forget Toe Jam & Earl either!

I'd hardly call Toejam and Earl a roguelike LOL
But thanks for the quick responses, when I get off work I'm going to check out some of those games.

NetHack is the best roguelike around, and the windows version has a graphic iinterface. If the graphics aren't good enough, you can download Falcon's Eye, which upgrades the graphics:

All console roguelikes are terrible, I wouldn't recommend any Japanese games that try to use roguelike gameplay, especially those Chocobo games.

Sorry, here's a better link for Falcon's Eye:

I just realized, aside from the jump to realtime, a la Diablo, the Champions of Norrath and Dark Alliance series are very derivative of Roguelikes.
And nice recommendation it290, I never even thought about TJ&E that way until now.
