Okay here's the deal i bought 2 genesis 2 models and the rf hookup and a game but no ac adapter so i bring it home thinking my universal ac adapter would work but it doesnt!
Okay I need to know what voltage i need to get these puppies running!

The Genesis, SegaCD, and 32x all use compatable adaptors.
Radio Shack sells one for a specific model # 1601

Okay thanks for the help but i needa quick fix!!!
I need to know if these things work like right now are there any other systems that use the same voltage?

I "think" the TG16 uses the same as one of the genesis models. If you have one, check it's output first. A genny 2 also uses the same as the Game gear AC adapter.

TG-16 adapter would only fir older Genesis and not Genny 2. I don't have the ac adapter with me and I'm not going diving behind the shelf just to find the specs but I'm sure it's 9v DC, 750mA or higher. Center may be positive but someone will need to check that.
Radio Shack should have an universal "one size fits all" 9v adapter.

Genny 2 Ac Adapter specs:
CLASS 2 POWER SUPPLY
Input: 120V AC 60Hz 15W
Output: 10V DC 0.85A

It looks like a SMS adapter could work (?)
Possibly a virtual boy adapter.
TG-16 if you have the correct model #
