I picked this up a little while ago (in the wild) and it is kind of rare, I remembered Nintendo power giving this a decent review and a walkthrough in a mag, I remembered the name forever til' now but never heard much from it until finding it as of late. I popped it in with a a friend a few days ago and to say the least I expected more. I was surprised at how shallow the game was, Black Pearl took a great idea and didn't run with it, the concept of the 360 degree rotation was cool but I wanted to see more, and I was dissappointed in how muddy the character graphics are, and how abysmal and drab the backgrounds are. There's almost no detail at all just the platforms and the mesh looking black backgrounds and on top of that it was one of the last few games released on the SNES and was released in 95/96ish. So needless to say I was disappointed a lot by this game. What are your thoughts, recollections or other comments on this game? Those of you that haven't played this game, it plays like Metroid meets Claymates meets Toejam and Earl.
