I have always wanted classic gaming posters in my house but I've never been able to get a hold of any. My dad owns a resteraunt and after getting tired of getting ripped off by our printing company we bought our own HP large format printer. So I was wondering if anyone has any scans of older gaming posters or can get me some and if so would people be interested in buying these reproductions.

That's not a bad idea...but I guess that would depend on how much you charge. How large of a format is this printer? 24, 36 or 48"?

Nice idea. It would also depend on how good of a scan you get.. you don't want to print out stuff that's all pixelated (no pun intended), but you want it to look as good as the original.

Its a 54" printer and the main problem will be is the scans. If anyone has any scans please let me know also what size are most of the old posters, i've never seen many of them. They don't even have to be posters scans of advertisements would be cool too.

Only problem with the scans is that you'll need a large-format scanner to do them. Alternately, you can have someone shoot them on film and then scan that, or just get a clean, high-res digital shot with a nice digital camera. You definitely don't want to take magazine scans and blow them up to poster size, as the dot patterns will become exceedingly apparent.
For some posters (those with relatively simple / cartoonish artwork), you may be able to have an artist redraw them in Illustrator. That will get you the absolute best quality. I've done this before with the side art for pinball machines, and they came out great.
