Anyone hear about any further news on the US version of this. One of the "Capcom Five" that was supposed to wow the world. I really was looking forward to this, havent heard peep one since, well, nearly a year.

It's being released in Japan on 3/24. It's coming to the PS2 as well. No word as to when the US will get it. I'm interested to see what K7 plays like.

The PS2 version is listed as TBA for North America on numerous websites I looked at. Japan has a release of March 24 and Europe June.
For the GC, I found these release dates:
Japan -- March 24
Europe -- March
US -- June 1
I was just at gamestop. They have K7 listed for a March 1st release. I highly doubt that. I enjoy how they just make up their own release dates sometimes.

If you haven't heard about it for a year now then you haven't been paying much attention. O_O Loads of new info has been given out, pretty fluently sence it was announced actually.

Yeah they also have the new Zelda as coming out on that day as well, EB has it marked at June 1st.
K7 looks really good though. If it turns out that it won't come out over here on the GC I may import it.

Wasn't one of those five that stupid dancing-based shooter? The one that sucked, unlike the admittedly cool concept? Let's hope this turns out better!

Yep...PN03, what a piece of crap.
The 5 were:
PN03
Viewtiful Joe (which went multi)
RE4 (going to be multi)
Killer 7 (going to be multi, though might be a GC exclusive in the US)
Dead Phoenix (cancelled)
So far I am very happy with two of the titles (VJ and RE). Killer 7 looks cool, but the last I heard the gameplay might be kinda weak. I thought I heard something about it being a rail shooter of sorts. I'm sure we'll hear more at E3.

Also need to pick up P.N. 03 sometime. Yeah, I know dancing to attack is pretty dumb, but somebody's gotta do it! (Obviously my brain has been so shocked at the concept that I can't respond properly, sorry)
*dances around the mosh pit doing headbutts and such*
Oh, wrong kind of dancing? It's interpretative combat! :D

I really wouldn't have minded the whole dancing attack thing, in fact when the first videos were shown the game looked cool. The biggest problem is that the game uses RE's tank controls...totally kills the whole flashy action thing going on.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that Dead Phoenix looked like an awesome idea. The early video's they showed looked great. I hope this one makes it back from the grave, but all signs point to no.

Yep...Capcom really only has themselves to blame for the poor sales of the game.
Oh, and I forgot to mention that Dead Phoenix looked like an awesome idea. The early video's they showed looked great.
Totally agree. DP was supposed to be like Panzer Dragoon. I really was looking forward to that title. Thanks Capcom!
