Got this baby from v1rich (great seller by the way). I've been looking for a copy for ages. Especially one with the box! Woo-hoo!

Wow, that's a really nice copy of DKC. I actually acquired a personal grail recently, EVO for SNES.
Oh, and if you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay?

Thanks guys!
I paid a decent amount ($275), but I think that's a fair deal since loose carts usually go for $200ish. The cart is dead mint and the box is about an 8/10 with a very tiny corner tear on the plastic. Still sweet.
Congrats on the EVO. I remember having a copy that I bought at blockbuster and flipped the same day at Funco for a bunch of trade in credit. I wish I had kept it though. Great game!

I currently have 3 of those. My bro used to work at BBuster, so uhm, we have nice games thanks to them.

Whats the difference between that and Regular DKC?
Would that be the same deal as Star Fox too?

Congrats...I was thinking about getting it from him, but I decided to save my money for a couple big deals I have coming up. Someday though, it will be mine.

Sweet deal! It usually sells in the mid 200's loose, so you got yourself a good deal considering how rare the box is! That truely is the holy grail of SNES collectors.

It has a timer wich stops at a determined time, and it has a scoring system.

Dude, that looks awesome. I have actually never even seen the box for one of these even in a picture. I remember getting one of my grails (Mortal Kombat 3 for SMS).
From 1 dper to another, let me give you a small piece of advice after acquiring a grail, get another grail to find and get. Trust me dude. I still have pics of my grail posted up, but we have to keep collecting.

(sorry, was that too inspirational, because I swear I didn't rip that line out of a movie)

Congratulations. :)
I just barely missed the chance to buy a one of a kind personal grail today. :( I'm glad somebody else is having some better luck than I am.

CONGRATS! Most of his games really are NICE, and he's certainly spent alot of time and money seeking out the best of the best, in the best possible condition that he can find them in. He seems to be a real nice guy too. I bought one of his games from him on ebay yesterday, and said something about wishing that I could find a sealed one, and he pointed me to one! So he's very knowledgable about where to find stuff, and get a good deal on it.

Hmm...Not 100% positive yet. All the other SNES stuff I want should just fall into place.
I'd like to start collecting import Saturn next since I already have a US system with an import toggle switch built into the back. I dont have any games for it yet, but I've heard so many great comments regarding the quality of Japanese Saturn games that I think I'm gonna go for some of the better ones next.
I do want something reeeeeeeeeely rare at some point. Maybe Darxide for 32X or a NWC90 cart for NES. :D
I'm a very unfocused collector.

Great find BTW and that's a pretty unique box for the SNES.
Also I see that EVO Search for Eden seems to really picked up a following. The database says its and R4/$20 loose, how much is that going for these days, and I picked up a complete one for like $5 or $10 back in the day from a pot headed looser looking for booze cash. What would that be worth?
BTW: NO it's not for sale! :eek 2:

Congrats man, this is a nice grail to own and always great to deal with a forum member instead of an Ebay buy.Enjoy it to the max!
