meh as in i could care less if a new system is coming out or not. remember the old days, when companies would leak screenshots to get people excited about new hardware? why is there all this talk about PS3 and XBox2 when there has yet to be any screenshots showing us what these new machines can do that the old ones cant. i have a feeling that the new generation will not be the dramatic leap in graphics we have grown used to over the past decade. only time will tell of course, but until i see evidence of this, my interest in next gen gaming will be lukewarm at best.

I pretty much agree. Just recently have I managed to be able to own all 3 of the current consoles, I'm in no rush for new ones.

Yeah I remember those days. Like before the PS2, PS1, SNES, etc. (yawn). Screenshots/Videos pre-console release are always bunk. Wake up. Go buy a copy of Adbusters and come back after you've read it.

It happens, let it slide. I think if it was truly an Xbox 2, meaning the next generation, we would have heard more about it. You don't release a new generation without hype.

I must of been running low on my medication. But my point is, having watched every console from the 2600 come and go, I've found that pre-release screenshots mean very little. They're typically representative of ideal conditions on a console, most of which are never actually met. Hence, I no longer "salivate" over them, as I see them for what are, a marketing tool. Adbusters a good magazine, but you'll have to buy your own copy.
