What kind of Glue is best for re-applying NES Labels?

I have 2 NES games that I really don't want to ruin by using the wrong glue on, but the end (top where the games title is) has peeled up on them. What kind of glue would be best to stick em back in place?

Any other tips would be appreciated as well!

I've often wondered this same thing, I usually use a thin coat from a glue stick to re-apply labels. As for the exact type of glue? Who knows...I'm sure it's a type of glue used solely for labels. Perhaps a label company could help you out in getting specifics.

I use a thin coat of regular old elmers white glue, applied with an eyeshadow applier-thing. They are made of foam, so it doesnt leave lint like a q-tip would. This is what I do to glue down NES and Atari labels.

I slip a thin sheet of waxy paper coated with a film of super glue under the affected area and hold it in place until it sets. Elmers Glue never held anything for very long in my experience and caused some label paperstock to wrinkle. (I do remove the wax paper before I press the label in place :P )

Make sure you use acid-free glue if you are applying it to labels of games that you plan on keeping for years and years. I had a heck of a time finding a glue stick that explicitly said "acid-free" on it.

I apply a very thin coat of the elmers glue, so there is no wrinkling. I've never had the labels pop back up when I did it, either. Your super glue technique sounds great, but I have a bit of a super glue phobia. If you got it elsewhere on the cart, is it easy to clean off with a solvent?
