Hello gamers & collectors (specifically collectors)

I'm trying to get my meager Dreamcast collection to look pretty, and I want to find the box art (and possibly the back insert) for the aborted Half-Life CD. I've seen it on e-bay, but the pictures aren't good enough to build my own.

Does anyone know where I can find it? Please?

THANKS!!!

:bawling:

I couldn't find the back insert, it might not exist.

Ah! Lovely! THANK YOU!

I went searching after I posted and found something similar but much smaller... this will be perfect. No back insert yet, though. Maybe I can make my own based on the back art of the PS2 or X-Box version. Could someone provide a nice scan of the BACK of the X-Box or PS2 version of Half-Life? I could then make my own...

THANKS!!

:D

Wow, that one looks extremely nice. I am thinking of yoinking that for myself. While I am at it, I might as well see if there are labels for pba bowling, because I have that one as well.

EDIT: are you sure this was not the official one, because it was done well enough to fool me. even the small copyright words on the bottom left match up to this being for Dreamcast and everything. The date is off (it has a 1999 date), but other than that, it looks extremely nice.

Who knows? :P Either way it will look great once HL finishes downloading for me!

While we are on the topic of whether or not they are authentic, the ESRB websites lists this:

"Half-Life Sierra On-Line Dreamcast Mature (17+) Animated Blood,Animated Violence 9/30/2000"

Neither of those back inserts list those exact rating descriptors, so I doubt their authenticity.

The front cover is definitely a fan-made one. As for the back covers...not sure. I DO know that a real honest to goodness official front and back cover exist though. If I can ever get em...they'll get posted :)

This is just fantastic. I can't wait to put this together. Any idea what kind of paper to ask at Kinko's/Copy Max for them to print this on?

Not much of a printing expert...

Ask for some glossy photo paper, as long as your printer can support it!

Thanks. Well, I'll just have them print it. Also, how about a CD label? Does anyone have on to print up?

The UPC code and ISBN are unique as well.. not just copied off of another game...

Anyone willing to throw together a CD Label for this game?

I never found an image for the actual disk (or maybe I just didnt print it up, I cant recall) but I printed the covers on my lazer printer and just intserted them - it looks awesome too. I just open up the images in photoship and adjust the sizes to the following -

Front - W: 120.55mm/12.05cm - - H: 119.5mm/11.95cm

Back - W: 148mm/14.8cm - - H:118mm/11.8cm

Fits like a glove in a jewel case.

It's a great port of the game btw.
