What ever happened to the game company Universal? If they've gone out of business who owns the rights to the Mr. Do games?

I think Visco might have them now. They developed the Mr. Do! game for the Neo Geo.

Being the biggest Mr. Do! fan in the world, even I don't know the answer to that question.

Visco released the Neo version right around the same time as T*HQ released the SNES version.

Imagineer released the Super Famicom version.

Adventure Mr. Do!, the laser disc game planned for 1985 was never released.

I read somewhere that Universal the movie company was the parent, but I'm almost 100% sure that isn't true, since I have the cocktail table and it seems Universal Ltd. was a Japanese company with branches in the U.S. and Europe.

I asked this same question on another message board about a month ago but no one knew for sure either what happened to Universal. Someone mentioned a company named Universal still making slot or pachinko machines but it's probably a different company.

I can't confirm this, but I heard that Ultracade had the rights to Mr. Do most recently

*Edit - Ultracade isn't spelled with 2 d's, and no c's, my bad. *

I don't know if they're still around, but they were making slot and pachinko machines. There's a game for the Japanese Saturn called "Universal Museum" (or something along those lines) featuring machines by them.
