Is it just me or are there no fighters for the PC? As Ive discussed in previous threads, my Saturn USB cont will be here soon. I cant find any fighters to use it on though! I have seen MK though...I just dont like it. Anybody know if there are any 2D Japanese fighters worth having? SNK, Marvel, Capcom...
Im really into SNK right now.

I know that at least one ro two Guilty Gear games exist for PC, as well as street fighter II I think.
Alternatively, there are quite a few interesting japanese doujinshi games that are fighters / brawlers / screenfulls of enemies that fall over like bowling pins.

Sega ported some of their 3D fighters a while back. I've never played it, but Guilty Gear X is a highly regarded 2D fighter that was released on the PC.

Haha, where are any PC games besides FPS, RTS and a few racers. PC gaming sucks.

I've got this game called Battle Beast by 7th Level... had it since it came out. Its not exactly what one would call good, but it was a pretty neat game. Multi level "arenas" a cool little unneccisary mini-game and a VERY hard boss.

If you wanna go oldschool, check out One Must Fall 2097. It's also been remade into a current title, One Must Fall: Battlegrounds (supports up to 16 players online too!)
Virtua Fighter, MK1-4 ... I think there were quite a few back in the day.

Battle Arena Toshinden, Brutal: Paws of Fury and Primal Rage are also available on PC. I guess the low number of fighting game is due to the PC's primary input device, they keyboard, which isn't really suited for games that require a lot of button presses simultanously.

Just because gaming requires a few brain cells to play doesn't mean it sucks - just means that morons will have a difficult time.
But hey - if you want to eschew all the best games and stick with your Pokémon, that's your choice.

There are a lot of fighters that have been made with the MUGEN engine, though not all of them are very good.

Your better off getting a neo geo emulator or MAME (same difference) for Fatal Fury.

j00 talk1ng t0 M3?
Seriously, its a terrible port. Arcade games may get pixelated a bit in MAME thanks to the monitor, but its nothing compared to the garbage PC port of FF3.

Where are they? Well, they aren't on your local Best Buy's shelf, bnut they're out there, everywhere. It's called shareware, and a lot of them are better games then most of the stuff on the shelves.

I agree. You go rot your brain on Final Fantasy; I'll actually put mine to use when playing Fallout 1 & 2.

V.G.Custom and V.G.Max. Custom is nothing but bugs and nowhere near as good as the game it was ported off of on PSX, which is a real shame as AVG2 was pretty good. V.G.Max is the better PC fighting game of the two and almost suprisingly was made by some other group, not GIGA themselves. But that was years ago so it's kinda dated now but still pretty nice.
