I recently purchased a Double Pro Fighter Q, including the Parallel port adaptor that plugs into the SNES port. However, I can't work out how to use this with my PC! I've sent Genesis .BIN format roms to it with Send Utility Pro 2.0, but after sending, the DPF doesn't play them, I'm really confused on how to actually get the thing to run the ROM file... Also, are there any utilities that allow me to download Genesis games through the parallel port?

Huh? If this is a Genesis device, why does it have an adaptor that plugs into the SNES port?

The double pro fighter works with both the snes and the genesis, I'm pretty certain Genesis games can be downloaded at least, from the look of this ancient newsgroup post here (http://groups.google.co.uk/groups?hl=en&lr=&safe=off&threadm=34n4u7%24hjm%40news.hk.net&rnum=9&prev=/groups%3Fhl%3Den%26lr%3D%26safe%3Doff%26selm%3D34n 4u7%2524hjm%2540news.hk.net%26rnum%3D9)
If anyone has a copy of the original software, it would be greatly appriciated :)

Sorry I'm not much help, but the cherryroms.com forum would probably be very useful. Sometimes the Tototek.com forums are pretty good too. These guys know a LOT of crap about copiers...probably moreso on the cherryroms forum (mostly because of kyuusaku and a couple others...he is a genius with game copiers and things like that and hangs out on both forums).

Usually these devices require that you are using a non-xp/2000 machine and sometimes you have to adjust your bios settings for your parallel port. On top of this, laptops are often shaky with these devices...stick to a desktop.

Thanks Rob I've just posted about it on Tototek's forums (Cherryroms' one said I was banned even though I've never even been to the place :/), hopefully someone will be able to help me :)
