It's here (http://www.cafepress.com/nuondome.16091220)! The NUON Games and Demos disc gives anyone with a Samsung N50x model NUON DVD player instant access to all the current homebrew games and demos along with a large selection of demos and apps from the NUON SDK. Comes in a full-color CD style jewel case with booklet, and features an improved boot loader with categorized programs, screenshots, title graphics and controller function graphics for each app. Here's a list of what you'll find on the disc:

Games - 800 Emu, 2600 Pac-Man, BOMB!, Breakout, Chomp, Chomp T.E., Decaying Orbit, Doom, Samegame & Snake.

Graphic Demos - 2D Balls, AGL Demo, Ambient Monsters, BillSphere, Hello World, Life, Raytrace/Mandelbrot, Room, Screensaver, VMBalls 3, VMBalls 4 & Walkthru.

Audio Demos - Midi Jukebox 1 & 2, Play Sample, Play Wav, Set Pitch & Video Game Music Player.

Utilities - Controller Dump, Dead Zone, System Info & Version.

Best of all, the disc is only $8.99! Orders can be placed through the NUON-Dome CafePress Store (http://www.cafepress.com/nuondome/), which I've just updated with a few other new products, and lowered prices on existing products. If you're planning on ordering a bunch of stuff, either from N-D or other CafePress shops, they're running a $5 off of $50 sale, which runs 01/18/05 - 02/03/05. Just enter coupon code VDAY50 to save a few bucks.

Big thanks to Scott Cartier @ DragonShadow Industries, along with everyone who contributed programs. Enjoy the disc!

Me too! If anybody sellin' one....

I've picked up Space Invaders, Tempest and Ballistic over the last year, and I think I'll be picking up one of these, too.

And I've got Buckaroo Banzai, of course.

I don't usually buy games for sytems I don't have, but there's something oddly attractive about them. And at least the gold cases jump out at you ina stack of games , or more likely DVD's.

It was a wonky idea, doomed to failure, but at least it made it as far as it did.....I guess!

Placing my order now.

My NUON player is also our home's primary DVD player. It's pretty cool to slip in a game of Freefall or Tempest inbetween movies :)

Thanks for the heads up, K3V!

Have fun with the discs, guys!

If you want to have a case that matches the rest of the NUON collection, I made up some DVD case art:

Damnit! My Nuon's a N-2000 and can't play CD-Rs. Oh well, maybe it's time to upgrade to a better model...
