We have a Phantasy Star 2 on ebay ending in about 2 hours. Right now it's only at 99 CENTS!! If it's going to go so cheap we would like a board member to get it.

if it was PS4 I would have jumped on it cutey :)
anyone else think the dungeons in PS2 would have been better as a crawl like PS1?

They'd have been tougher, that's for sure. The original's first-person view was impressive, but it was certainly easier to find your way around with the overhead perspective in PS2. Of course, it didn't hurt that Sega also gave you a free player's guide with the game.
It's interesting to note that PSIV's dungeons were originally going to be first-person, but the idea was abandoned.
And if you ever want to boost the bidding on an auction for PS2, be sure to mention that it has some of the ugliest box art ever approved by Sega. And that's saying a lot.
