Okay, so I won a seemingly decent copy of In the Hunt for the saturn off of ebay a few months ago, however, for some odd reason it never really wants to boot up past the intro CG. Now, I know most of you will say it was either a problem with the disk itself or a possible glitch with the system, but I now have received and return two copies of this game and just today got another one in the mail that still seems to have trouble loading. Does anybody know of some sort of glitch in the game? I have a 4-1 ram cart I've been using while trying to boot up the game, yet I've also tried loading the game without the ram cart installed and it still has the same ill effect. Any ideas on how to get this game working?

Never had a problem with mine, which was previously a rental.

Is the loading time long in your copy?

The Import version has bugs and on my system plays like 50% of the time it boots up. But once it boots up it's clear water and good to go.

Is your saturn a skeleton model? I seem to recall issues getting the game to run on my derby stallion saturn. I also could not get Sega Ages outrun to load either.

Na, it's just your run of the mill, US model 2 saturn. Nothing fancy.

Not that I recall, but I'll be more than happy to go downstairs and try it out. I like that game. :-P

I had/have the exact same problem. My Saturn (model 1) has no problems booting any of my games except In the Hunt. Hangs up just after the opening intro. I tried it on my other Saturn (model 2), and it works fine. Got a second copy, and it alsol does it, only on occasion though. Strange that the model 1 has trouble with it, but every other game I own runs perfectly every time, but the game boots flawlessly on my Model 2.
I can't explain it.

I have never had this problem myself, but I have heard that if you unplug all the controllers from your system until after the game has booted it will work fine. Give it a try and let me know if it works.

Hey it worked! I just removed the controllers before the CG intro and it ran just fine. Granted I only have tried it twice so far, but that worked alot better then continuously resetting the system.

I've had this problem too. I'll try the controller trick next time, though it's a pretty crap port anyway and just MAMEing the game gives a more enjoyable expirence.
