I don't know anything at all about PAL games or any imports in general, but I'm really wanting to order the PAL Zelda GBA. The only thing though, is that I don't want to spend the cash if it doesn't play US games. I honestly have no idea about any sort of region compatibility, so could you guys help me out? Thanks.

There is no such thing as a PAL GBA--most portables are region-free. The only problem that you will encounter is that it will come with a 220V AC adapter, which you will either need to get a step-down convertor or a US GBASP charger to get to work properly with 110/120V outlets.

Aha. Thank you. That explains a lot, sorry to sound like a newb. As I told you, I have virtually no idea on anything PAL or anything imported. Thanks for clearing that up for me. Looks like I'll be ordering one soon enough.

actually there may be an alternative to a step down convertor, I know there are usb chargers so that might suffice...but don't quote me on that. anyways are zelda gbas even readily available I thought they were contest only items

Ha i quoted you on that!... Anyways, I lost my wall charger a long time ago, so I use a USB charger I got from our very own Sylentwulf (www.electricquarter.com) it works great. Just as good as any official nintendo product.
