What are the differences between the normal Sonic Advenrure limited edition for DC and the boxed edition. is the boxed edition alot more rare? i noticed its not listed (w/ rarity) in the dp price guide, so i was wondering what its worth/the differences

The LE Sonic Adventure was released state-side to blockbusters (or maybe some other rental chain) before the release of the Dreamcast console so they could rent it out/give people a chance to try it. It is very rare.

The Anniversary Box, on the other hand, its not very rare at all. It had a Japan-only release and you could pick one up for $10 shipped at lik-sang.com a while back.

Not *entirely*. The Anniversary Box was also released in the US, just in more of a fold-out form than a box. The contents are the same.
