PSP release March 29th? 49.99 Games? 29 Launch Titles?

Just speculation mind you!

I was talking to my friend who works in EB today, who'd been steady keeping up with the PSP. He says that Sony confirmed that the games will be 49.99. Also he said that there are 29 PSP games slated for release on the 29th, which is when he thinks the system will launch.

I doubt it will release with 29 games, but the march 29th release date may be right, and I don't know what to say about games at 49.99. That's insane!

I just wonder why Sony wont release any concrete info on this yet. :(

I have no info on this at all, but March 29th seems early, particularly given that E3 is not until May. Don't really see it launching until they can capitalize on all that free coverage.

I just got my import one but as far as a US release I am hearing March as well. Sometime between the 15th and 29th
