A few work that I'm sure of the others I have no clue(no time to test)

I was thinking someday to just list the whole lot of them on Ebay..Just to get rid of them..

came in 4 UPS boxes, HEAVY ones.

I'm sure I'll pack up a lot of the posarts games with the consoles and sonic games to sell out on ebay. That is, after I go through ALLLL of it, which might take quite a few days since I JUST finished installing a new heatsink (thermaltake silenttower, had to actually bolt it to the mobo, but DAMN quiet) and am gonna be playing EQ2 for a bit now ;)

Can;t wait to dedicate 3-4 hours to sitting down and diggin through it all though :)

Man, that's a lot of EA sports games.
The auction says 500..whatever...non-Sports games; I doubt they got them all (isn't Toughman contest really just a sports game? Wrestlemania?) so even being cynical about it, I'd say the odd handful would be an avalanche here. Still, for that many carts, probably not such a terrible deal.

Started opening em up, there were actually 5 boxes, around 75 pounds each.
A VERY SURPRISING variety of games. I'm down to the last box (which does look like it's at least half sports) and I've only seend maybe 4-5 of each cart. I have as many dups of alisia dragoon as I do sonic 2, etc... Even the sports titles, I've only seen 4-5 maddens/sports talk so far total.

I'll probly finish up tomorrow and take some pics :)

oh, man it seems to me like you bought a head ache.

When I purchased a stores atari section i hade a couple of bins of carts, probably like 400 games or more. Anyway it took me so damn long to clean and test those things, that I really started to hate atari. Eight months later there still some I havent tested yet! I hope you like cleaning carts other wise your going to be in collector hell for a while.

But other then the cleaning work that needs to be done its a pretty decent score.

I REALLY should have. would have saves a lot of money, BUT. They're almost in penn. they're so far west, would have been roughly a 5-6 hour drive each way, and that's just guessing, with no snow.

12 Hour drive, plus carrying cash, finding the place, dealing with people.... just wasn't worth it

Worst part of a lot that size would be all the cleaning. I realize you'll make the money back in no time with reselling package lots, & individual games, but that's still a bit pricey for a find of the year type thread. :P Congrats to you though! I was expecting to see you posting a $20 find (http://members.cox.net/sumguy66/$20find.jpg), then bitching because you couldn't talk them down to $1 a game. ;)

My company has blocked ebay for about 3 months now. If I had saw this I would have jumped on the bid wagon - and I'm in Boston so the pickup truck would have made the road trip.
