Did anyone ever buy Goblin Commander?

It's always been a title I've thought about buying, but never really heard anything about it. It was RTS for GCN, PS2 and Xbox, and was wondering if anyone here had played and enjoyed it. Good buy, or no?

Did I ever see Goblin Commander on store shelves? no. I would have picked it up too. Only version I see online anymore is PS2... and I have no PS2.

well now that i know that not many people play this game, i may buy it just to see how it is (my blobkbuster has a couple gc copies and a few xbox copies)

If anyone does try it, I'm very curious about it too. Again, it seems I run into a million copies of it for the Xbox in Milwaukee (are we a haven for rare games suddenly?) and I keep picking it up, looking at it and returning it because I just can't tell if I'll like it or hate it.

I'd love someone else's opinion.

I have those on NR Reader Discs for my NR reader ... but yes sofar I've noticed that Goblin Commander for GCN (game cube) is rarest of all ... Xbox and Ps2 versions are the ones that I see commonly .... But I do know where to get one brand new sealed Goblin Commander for the game cube !!

I have it! It's a fun game - I picked it up for $10 a while ago. Take warcraft 3 and boil it down to its core gameplay, and you've got goblin commander. It has an amazingly easy and effective control scheme for a console strategy game. The graphics are good and it's fun. My only beef is that its not as challenging as it could be, and it could be a little more in-depth. Overall though good stuff.

I remember seeing an ad for it in a movie theater before the trailers in late 2003.

I didn't think about it much back then but I've read a few reviews, and it's something I might consider picking up if I see a PS2 or GC copy on the cheap.

It was fun for a few hours,
then i got bored
(units moving sooooo slowly!)
but, it was worth my $10

goblin commander truely is a great game, if your an RTS fan you'll love it - i got it for free, jaleco is located in my home town and they had a few give aways

If you want the Gamecube version, you can get them here (http://www.hiscoregames.com), unfortunately it's not cheap, Maplewood store has 4 copies in stock.

The game is fun when you play against somebody and it is easy to understand...well worth the 10 dollars you will pay for it new on Xbox

Recently, it was $8 used on EB Games.com for either Xbox or PS2. I can't remember now and it's OOS.

I got the GC version for arouind 20.00 on Amazon. They only had two or three from their partner merchants, so I don't know if they're still there or not. Of course you have to pay shipping, so maybe it's not worth it.
