I saw a used and complete copy of Pro Rally for Gamecube at a Gamestop tonight. It was $12.99. I passed it up but I'm thinking of going back and getting it. Has anyone here played it, and is it worth that price?
Also, is it a hard to find title?

pick it up.
I saw it, 9.99, and stil regret it. It got a 70% or something on gamerankings.

I don't know it it's rare, but I hated it. The drifting physics are way off. The opening training segment is almost as bad as the original Driver's on the PS.

yeah, drifting REALLY is way off, as are some other things, it's still fun though imho, but i wouldn't pay 13 bucks for it, i grabbed a new copy last saturday for 1 buck, that's a price you shouldn't let it pass for :D
The game was......lacking. Looks awesome, though. I bought it when it came out....for full pop. It ain't Colin McRae, that's for sure. It may end up being a shitty game that sits on your shelf.
The biggest problem is that the navigation is mis-timed AND totally wrong. With Colin McRae, you can drive the course just by listening to your navigator. With THIS game a "hairpin" is more like what SHOULD have been a "left 3-tightens". Navigation commands are way too early. He warns of a curve so you set up.....but the curve isn't there.....yet. You'll end up off the course over and over...and the time constraints get far too tight later on. The game demands perfection.....but there's no way that you can produce it because of the mis-cues.
I wouldn't buy it again, no matter how low the price. It's bad.

Actually, it got 62% (http://www.gamerankings.com/htmlpages2/562018.asp?q=pro%20rally). (And just look at that summary! LOL)

Driver was one of my favorite PSX games, but I absolutely hated that training segment.
From what I'm hearing here and in a few reviews I've read around the net, I've decided to pass. Thanks for the responses. :)
Although if I found a copy that was as cheap as the one hydr0x found, I wouldn't pass it up. A buck - wow. X_x I have yet to find any GC games lower than $5 around here.
