I would like to know what you consider the best fighting game on the Gameboy Advance to be. There seem to be quite a few good ones. I'll start off with a few to spark some ideas.
Guilty Gear X Advance Edition
Steert Fighter Alpha 3

Uh, Metal Slug and Guardian Heroes aren't fighters. Hell Slug isn't even a brawler.
Only fighters I know on the gba are guilty gear, SF2, SFA3, and the KOF games.

KOF EX2
Super SF2 Turbo Revival
SF Alpha 3
are the only great ones I've known

I consider them fighters, but I will edit my post nontheless.

Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the GBA is my favorite.
Tekken was surprisingly good on GBA. Worth a rent at least.

Can't believe I forgot that one. Really great gameplay wise 9and graphically), but there's nothing to do. No unlockables or anything, a real dissapointment in that way.
I also forgot to add the Mortal Kombats. Everyone should know to stay away from MK Advance by now. The two 3-D ones, Deception and something else that I can't rememeber, are pretty solid plays.

Only three worth owning (in a players sense):
The King of Fighters EX2: Howling Blood
Super Street Ffighter 2: Turbo Revival
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (man this one is so awesome it's hard to explain, a very well done port by Crawfish, R.I.P.)
Guilty Gear X Advance Edition looks and sounds like a Game Boy Color game, but the mainr eason why I don't like it is ebcause I'm not fond of this fighting series. I also own The King of Fighters EX: Neo Blood... garbage, pure garbage.
Good brawlers would be:
Double Dragon Advance
River City Ransom EX
Final Fight One
Advance Guardian Heroes
A very nice looking brawler is Gekido Advance: Kitnaro's revenge. Unfortunately, it fails to deliver. Shame too, it looks very nice with the large detailed sprites.

Guilty Gear was extremely well done. I mean, it's not pretty like the others, but the gameplay is spot on. I was extremely impressed by how well that came out.
KOF Neoblood was pretty fun, although I never got too into the 2nd.

Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance
Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition
are the only current two in 3D...deception isn't on GBA
Also, I do say that Final Fight One was one of the best ports of FF, next to the Sega CD verison
