See, I don't see this as spam at all. He's got stuff for trade (well, maybe not, but there is a link to such items) and for sale, and he posted it in the right forum. Besides the fact that it's HTML and not typed out, how is this different than someone selling Neo-Geo games in a post here?

When someone goes to the bother of creating an account for the sole purpose of putting an ad on the forum then I call it SPAM.

You can call it something else - after all it is your board :D

Until this person comes back and actually makes a post that does not involve his personal gain then in my eyes he is a spammer.

Yeah, I suppose everyone's definition of SPAM could be different. I get so much of it, mainly emails that promise me girls, money (which leads to more girls) or a larger penis (more girls again). To me, SPAM is JUNK. It's not something I'm interested in, not something I asked for, and it's taking up my personal space.

I see THIS post as on-topic, relevant to me, and interesting (I went to his site to check out prices since I collect Neo-Geo). In fact, I come to this forum often looking for games to spend my money on. And voila! This works for me.

Then again, that's just me.

Hmm, I suppose I'm a fence sitter. I see this for both sides of the story.

While it technically is ON topic, don't forget all the Online Pharmacies, Book Sellers (ezboard?) that were booted from this board because they were creating single accounts to post one thing with their wares (which subsequently had html links also).

And I did buy something from PriestJPN when he was only selling stuff here, one post and I jumped at that Dreameye (I told him to stick around....)

This however, doesn't have the same tone that PriestJPN's thread did. This one seems...hollow, form-style post if you will.

The first post, you attacked Anuwat, and everyone joined in because he posted something about buying/selling some Neo Geo Games, and you know nothing about him, I am not some random guy who has bought minimal things related to video games, and anyone who knows me on this forum can attest to that. If you attacked him, and thought it was a good thing "IYO", then you can take a little bashing from me, can't you? Bottom line is, Anuwat is a good trader with quality items, and you jumped the gun, making yourself look idiotic.
