Out of the four PSOne combo's I snagged from TRU, one of them has a more blueish tint to the box. I first thought it might be due to sunlight, but TRU keeps all their consoles in the backroom... Is there any difference whatsoever between them? Speaking of differences, are there any differences between 1st gen PSOnes to the current one?

Here is the picture of the boxes.

3 were $44.98, the other was $64.98... I dunno why I paid that much for the last one... I guess im hoping they will become like the toploading NES. I got the first 3 around the beginning of January and the last one, last weekend.

Couldn't you have just said at the counter that this one is incorrectly prices and that the others were all $44.99?!

Where did you get them?!

For that price I can afford to open one up to make a portable Nintendo or something.

Oh... the 3 for $44.98 were at the store in my town... The one for $64.98 was in a town 45 mins away. I still am kinda wondering why I payed $64.98 for it..... *Heres to hoping it becomes rare*

They also had screens for $22.98, but they were gone 3 days after I saw them... There were 14.

Just get a casio pocket tv with speakers from radio shack. Much cheaper and easier to work with ;)

It's probably just fluorescent light fading. Fluorescent lighting is the worst about fading printed materials. Or it could've just been a different print run at a different printing facility. Heck, it could even be that they were running low on one of the ink colors. Who knows?

considering that the PSone on the box is also a slightly different hue I'd definately say fading or a printing mishap. all the psone lcd combos i've seen are that green color.

Ok, thanks. Also, I was wondering if there were any differences between the 1st gen PSOnes and the current one?

I think I have the solution...

My PSOne combo just like that is a bit of both colors. At some point, someone put a piece of paper on the box to mark it (I assume) as a return. When Toys R Us finally uncovered it to relabel it and sell it again, they took that piece of paper back off.

I can tell it was there because there is a ring of the faded, lightish color like what you have in the one, as well as a paper-sized non-faded section (that includes two peices of tape that didn't fade too).

The Toys R Us I got mine from keeps it in a display case no where near the windows. I figured it was just the lights from the store combined with some cheap printing.
