Feedback for Half.com buyers?

Since eBay and half are one and the same, I figured this was relevant. I just recently started selling through half for some items, and I don't understand the concept of rating the buyers here. They pay before you know the item even sold. How could a buyer possibly NOT get a positive here, aside from sellers that withhold feedback? I just don't see the point of rating them at all.

I just leave a positive "thanks for buying from me". Probably makes them feel better and might make them more likely to leave feedback for you.
