Well we've seen it happen, what with all the Super Mario Advance's and what have you, NES games some times just need a facelift, sadly some of the best on the system never will. So which games do you feel should?

I hate remakes. Games should stay on their original system. Taking them away makes the original game much less important. Can you imagine what would happen to NiGHTS if they made a sequel/ported it?

I'd love to see a remake/sequel to Monster Party, complete with engrish voiceovers. Man I loved that game...and the ending leaves it very open to a sequel. I wonder who owns the rights?

Well, I'm not sure if you know but it was remade for PS2/GC in Japan although it doesn't look pretty.

Well, if not for Madden's 5 year lock on the NFL license I would say an update of Tecmo Super Bowl. Exact same graphics, but modern teams and a franchise mode.

Barring that, I agree that Kid Icarus would be an awesome remake. Bionic Commando, Startropics, and Power Blade would all be cool remakes too.

I think a remake of NiGHts would be fantastic, so long as it's remade by the same people who made the original. I'd rather just have a sequel though. There should have been a NiGHts DC game....

Mega Man had 5 remakes on the NES alone. There are certainly enough 2D Mega Man games out there to keep me happy.

I also give my kudos on Kid Icarus, but i think it would be absolutely beautiful if there was a Maniac Mansion remake.
I mean think of this...Mix Shadowgate 64 and old skool Resident Evil, and then add a good dose of the same brand of humor used in the original.

The entire Castlevania trilogy for NES would make an impressive remake, even keep Simon's Quest's Engrish clues. heck Akdra X68K got remade into Chronicles, wouldn't hurt to especially see CV 3 remade.
