Holy moly. I liked TMNT TF! It was probably the best straight to home 2D fighter ever released. I bought it shortly after it came out and had an absolute blast with it. It reminded me of Street Fighter II and World Heroes 2. :D

Gees odd indeed...I sense it's gonna be more like Godzilla Melee...then SSB Melee....imho SSB was more 2D then 3D when it came to the gameplay

Ditto Steven.... i thought tournament fighters on the Snes was the sh!t :P i can't say i'm to impressed with some of the newer turtles titles though! :/

This game looks horrible. I own a complete copy of TMNT TF for SNES myself and this "remake" cant ever be better.

This just looks like the most recent TMNT games, but more confined, and you can hit your teammates. Really, I think that about sums it up.

You would think that. Lots of issues here and you can read my full review here on the site (PS2). Here's a short rundown:

Balance off
New characters awful
Pace has slowed
Camera now an issue
Stupid and forced mini-games
Still can't pick things up easily
Beam weapons too easy
Graphics a mess

After renting the last new TMNT game and playing it all of five minutes before being totally disgusted and turning it off, I can safely say I won't be buying this one either.

The fact it's coming out at a $20 price point doesn't really show promise either...

Actually, as bad as the 3D TMNT games have been, if it's what it looks like, might actually be ok, so long as that Adventure Mode isn't just a short version of the previous games ilk. Hopefully the camera will be locked into a more confined space, like in Batman Rise of Sin Tzu, so it won't be focusing near and far all the time.

i loved the original...i loved all the original turtles games....i expected more from konami with re-developing tmnt...i hope this one turns out better than the last 2 attempts
