Favorite NES Peripheral/accessory??

OK what was your favorite NES add-on? That includes pack in accessories like the zapper or the ROB. The NES had a lot of great accessories like the zapper light gun, but it had horrible ones like the unusable 'U-Force'. When I was a kid I actually chose a NES Max controller as a birthday present over a new game (maybe that's a good thing because I was torn between the MAX and a copy of Deadly Towers.) I hated that controller with a passion. I was equally unimpressed with the NES Advantage, though I thought it was cool that they made an arcade stick for the NES. Anyway, my favorite accessory for the NES is the Acclaim (sp?) wireless controller. Yeah, it was infrared, but it had the exact same feel as a first party controller, except that was thicker, which is good for me because I have big hands.

I wasn't too impressed with the NES Advantage as well. I thought it was kinda clunky and not that responsive. Though, I should pull it out again and see how it works.

Favorite? Toss-up between an Orange Zapper (those things scream "geeky cool"), and the Power Pad.

My brother loved the NESMax controller. I didn't have any interest in it though.

I like the Zapper though. Used to play Duck Hunt quite often.

Probably the Zapper (I love gun games), but I did use the Max alot back in the day.

The zapper probably saw the most use of all the Nintendo accessories. So far as I'm concerned the MAX is useful only for Crystalis what with the 8-way movement and turbo function being a necessity to pass a test at one point.

Third party, there was this pair of black rubber cups you slid onto either side of a regular NES controller called Power Grips, those things make the pad about 10 times more comfortable to hold.

Least Usefull? Read above.
Most fun to use? PowerPad! IMO no other accessory was really NEEDED to enjoy the system. (Not that you NEEDED the pad to enjoy the system...Im just sayin')

I never really liked the Zapper a whole lot. its sweet, just not my thing.

I really like the power pad, i just hate how it slides around on my floor as im trying to run around on it.

I think the Powerglove is by far the coolest NES accessory ever made. The thing looks hilarious and is basically unuseable, but I still like it.
I also really like my Miracle Piano. Mainly because I show it to my friends and tell them that it's for Nintendo, and they are like "what the hell?", because 90%+ of people never knew that thing even existed, let alone have seen one in person.

As a kid I loved to cheat...so the game genie. I could sit there for hours messing with the variations on codes and making it do different weird stuff!

The Miracle Piano is really a cool accessory to have, very unique.

From most used to least used:
Nes Advantage - Great on Skate or Die

Nes Power Pad - Love using this with my brother

Power Glove - I just love it, even if it doesn't work that well

ROB - He is just so cool also!

U-Force - Only used it once, but can't remember how it worked, still looks cool to me though!
Now that I think about it there are also lots more NES accessories that I use. Why is it knowadays I only use my Wavebird and that's IT. (For my Gamecube of course) What happened to all the cool accessories??

I have a few NES accessories like the footpedle,infra red joysticks,flightgrip but i really need all the others like ROB,Power Glove,Miracle Piano.
When i play i use the Adventage,i like it arcade style.
