No Demo Disc with PSOne Combo?

I just opened one of my Combos and there was no demo disc included. Did they stop packaging demo discs with systems with the start of the PSOnes? The two PSXs I have both came with demos.

That shit drives me nuts. Like it would kill them to throw in a demo disc. It really pissed me off when I bought my PS2 on launch day and there was no demo. When I got my PSX, it came with a demo disc and I played the shit out of it because it was pretty much all i had.

Maybe they figure that for $49.99 they cant include a demo disc anymore.

I meant to say that it is weird that the PSOne system on display has a demo disc in it. It could be a Jampack disc though.

I believe that Sony puts out special "Kiosk Discs" for store demo units. Nintendo does the same thing for the cuber-duber.

Didn't the standard PSone come with a demo disk? I vaguely remember a sticker that said "Harry Potter demo inside".

I got my PSOne right around the time that they came out, back when they came in the silver boxes, and it did not come with a demo disc.

I remember my 1001 series PSX came with one, and my 5501 series came with one, but i do not recall my brother's 7501 series coming with one (the Dual Shock packaging)

Probably was just like the removal of the serial port in the back - just another cost cutting measure.
