I see muddy textures and loooooong load times and maybe a few extras.
what do u guys think?

The PS2 is limited to 512x512 textures, but it does have more ram available than the GC, but on the other hand, the GC supports real time texture decrompression at variable texture tile sizes.

There are always shortcuts though. They could pre-render alot of textures and maybe use sprites for some particle effects.

Capcom are very advanced with their PS2 development techniques and i have no doubt that they will create a very good conversion. Still, i wont be forking out for the PS2 version.

Load times will be an issue; thats a fact. Lighting wil also be troublesome for the PS2. But other developers managed to get satisfactory results in this area, ie splinter cell (although nothing great compared to the original)

PS2 ver of RE4 will it look as good as the Gamecube version?

i think its funny that capcom said that they could not do this game on any other system except nintendo but yet there are doing it for the crapstation 2 and not the xbox.capcom's full of poopy

PS the search feature is working again and should be fine up until the point where we transfer over to the enhanced version in a few weeks.
