Ogre Battle or Hoshigami

I am in talks about a trade on another site that involves my sealed Baten Kaitos. He has a pretty good list of PS1 games that i am after. I wanted to get both of these from him but he siad he wouldn't trade both for Baten and another game from my list. So the question is, which should i go after, Hoshigami (complete) or Ogre Battle (complete but no Map). He is willing to add a cheaper game to even out the deal such as Threads of Fate, Wild ARms, Breath of Fire 3 or Elemental Gearbolt. I haven't seen either Hoshigami or Ogre Battle anywhere or know of anyone else that is willing to trade with me. Which should i do? x_x

ogre battle limited edition :D i have one sitting right next to me, i got it in a trade for my cd only jade coccoon for a complete mint limited edition orge battle. i love newbs

Go for Ogre Battle and Elemental Gearbolt :)

And ask him if Ogre Battle has the memory card stickers...those are rarer than the map!

Oh yeah...and Hoshigami < Ogre Battle in terms of quality....Ogre Battle is the better game.

Dang, is Wild Arms that expensive? There's a complete one at a local GameStop for about $15...

No, Wild ARMs is MUCH cheaper than Hoshigami or Ogre Battle.

It's just that Hoshigami is an unplayably hard and unfun game.

And the remake of Wild Arms is FINALLY susposed to be out next month, so that will cause the original to decline in value also.

Personally I say go for Breath of fire 3 and Ogre Battle. They both rock! But are you sure you wanna give up Baten Kaitos? I've heard It's pretty damned good.

yes i am sure, i am after PS1 RPg's. I have no interest in Baten right now as i could easily pick it up later on

i bought hoshigami when it came out and i felt it was missing something, i playe for abour 2 hours and i returned it....maybe i didnt give it enuff of a chance but id say go with ogre battle

Well see this is the problem here. I plan on collecting all the PS1 RPG' s and this is the 1st time i have come about both of these. This is why it is so hard for me to decide. I might do that deal to get Wild Arms so i can trade it to DDcecil for his Hoshigami. But then it would take me awhile to find ELemental Gearbolt as well. Oh the humanity..... :(

I just checked the condition of Hoshigami. The CD is scratched kind of bad. The cover page of the manual is kind of wrinkly, and the case has residue from EB's stupid preowned stickers on it. Not sure if you still would want it, but it is gathering dust here, and I'd rather have Wild Arms!

Try and go for Ogre Battle and Elemental Gearbolt like the previous people have said.
