Getting a job at a gamecrazy, few questions.

I turn 16 and may, and should have my license by september, i am looking at the game crazy website at the jobs section and can't find any age requirements, does anyone know if it is 16, 18, or what?

Also i live 13 miles away, which is a little far, for a kid to work. Would they look at that, and maybe hire someone that is a little closer, or probably not?

I'd rather apply at a store than online, and when you apply, do they even check to see if you have any prior gaming knowledge, or will they just hire any schlubs?

@age requirements: call Gamecrazy. Look up the phone number, call them, ask them.

@distance: no one cares how far you live from a store, although I would say 13 miles is pretty close! What they will care about is how you are groomed, how you conduct yourself, and how reliable you are.

@knowledge: I would assume they would want someone with a general knowledge of gaming. I wouldn't expect a ton of trivia questions, but I am guessing they would want someone with at least a general working knowledge of the various products and consoles that they deal with.

according to the questionare on the website

"Are you at least 18 years old?"

Which is on the 4th or 5th page when you start answering questions for the government purposes

but on page 7 it says Are you at least 16 years old and can provide proof of age?

So yes, you're ok to work there
