My fave Capcom Disney game has got to be Darkwing Duck. It's a short but sweet game. :)

I also like Chip n Dale Rescue Rangers, but DW is better, IMO.

How about you?

To juggle your memory, here are the Disney Capcom games on the NES.

Adventures in the Magic Kingdom
Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers 2
Darkwing Duck
Duck Tales
Duck Tales 2
The Little Mermaid
Mickey Mousecapade
TaleSpin

I'm still gonna go with good ol' Duck Tales, a game that warranted many plays out of me as a young'un. :)

Yup, I'm gonna go with Duck Tales too. It's a simple game to pick up and play but it is one that I never get tired of.

I've always had a fondness for Mickey Mousecapade. I recently played the Famicom version (Mickey Mouse) and discovered it was made by Hudson. There are quite a few minor changes, including shooting balls instead of stars and getting a Donald Duck head icon for health. The ending was the same though.

I never did get into Talespin.

Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers
Duck Tales
Mickey Mousecapade

had to be those three

The only two Disney games I've ever owned were Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers, and Mickey Mousecapade.

I'm picking Mickey Mousecapade. That game to me was far more challenging. I got it when I was maybe 5 or 6, when videogames were still mysterious, and especially the forest level, took me a long time to beat it and I was just amazed at how there were all these different worlds hidden inside of the trees(I now would pass something like that off as a "palette change", note the now-present lack of wonder).

Rescue Rangers, well, I got some years later, and beat it in a day. It's a decent game, but it just wasn't the same experience.

I'd also have to say Ducktales. Second would have to be the severally under-rated Ducktales 2.

Mine is DEFINATELY Duck Tales 1. Then Chip and Dale 1 after that!
Duck tales is just a sweet game and one of my all time favs. from the NES.

I've never played C&D 2, but the first one gets my vote. Such a fantastic, easy to pick up and plow through title. Duck Tales comes in a close second.

Darkwing Duck is good, but it's hards to ignore that it's really just Mega Man in dsiguise.

Adv. In the Magic Kingom is worth it too. It's a shame that it's so damned hard (at times completely unfair). It's got a great graphics style, solid control, but a few of those games are just brutal.

Are you serious? That game is probably in my top 5 easiest NES games.

Mine are:

1. Chip 'n Dale rescue rangers
2. Darkwing Duck
3. Duck Tales

Am I the only one who finds Ducktales incredibly hard? I was playing it recently and couldn't even beat the 1st level. Maybe I just suck? LOL

I played the Game Boy version... how does it differ from the NES version (aside from the lack of a color scheme)?

Adventures in the Magic Kingdom was my favorite. Some of the games were really hard (Pirates of the Carribean), and some were really easy (Space Mountain). One of the first games I rebought when I started collecting again.

Hah, Ducktales is one of the only NES games I can beat. I don't think I've even sat down and beaten Super Mario Bros. yet.

Anyway, after much much much internal debate, I very narrowly chose Chip & Dale over Ducktales. The NES games are childhood memories as much as the TV shows are, since they were a constant fixture of my life at age 5.

Funny. It seems many people have a hard time beating the Space Mountain level, my brother was one of them. He always got nervous for some reason, although that level is in fact really easy.

I remember that my cousin got the game for his birthday and beat it the same day.

I'll go with Chip N' Dale, best music and gameplay, and Duck Tales was a close second, Mickey Mouse on the other hand I thought was terrible.

Chip N Dale Rescue Rangers, which was also the first video game I ever beat.

Even though I hate all things Disney, Chip n Dales is pretty damn fun. 2 player is fun for the fact you can throw the other player to his death :D

I'd have to say Duck Tales, I still get that out from time to time. C & D:RR is still a good game, just for me Duck Tales was first and favorite

Pogo-stickin' Ducks
Collectin' buku dollars
Snappy music

Whats not to like? LOL

I never did play Chip and Dale 2 or Darkwing Duck or DuckTales 2, but I'd probably say :

Duck Tales
Mickey Mousecapade
Rescue Rangers
Adv In the Magic Kingdom

In that order. There's something very different and weird about Mousecapade...it has that creepy quality of old-school Disney cartoons...those old cartoons were certainly a little darker and rough than later Disney stuff.

AitMK was DAMN hard. I beat it in like 2 days, but MAN, those levels took practice.

Are you serious? That game is probably in my top 5 easiest NES games.

Ruudos...you've gotta be kidding. LOL You're the only person I've ever heard even talk about that game being anything but HARD. Some levels are easier than others, but over all, it takes a LOT of practice for anyone I knowthat's beaten it. Congrats on you skillz if you find it easy, dude!

Does Mickey Mousecapade compare at all to either Mickey Castle of Illusion (on the SMS) or to Mickey Mania (SNES, Genesis and other Sega consoles)?

My cousin did it too, wh didn't have much experience with gam,es at that time. My brother only had trouble with the Space Mountain level, and my oldest brother didn't even play it.

Games like TMNT, Double Dragon series, Ninja Gaiden or almost any shmup are far harder to me.

I loved the first Duck Tails, and since I haven't played Chip & Dale in so many years I'll have to stick with DT. But I did enjoy Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, though I too had a lot of trouble with it (I've beaten all of the rides, but never in one sitting. :embarrassed: ).

Must be Hal from 2001: A Space Odyssee that made you type that... LOL

I'm going to go with Adventures in the Magic Kingdom, due to the variety in the levels and because it brings back good memories of visiting Disney World. I've beaten the game, but I must say, some of the levels were a huge pain in the ass. I thought it was actually a quite challenging game; far more challenging than it should've been, since I'm sure it was marketed towards younger kids. Capcom also did the same thing with Little Nemo, which I thought was a very tough game, especially considering the target audience.

Im going for Tale Spin & Duck Tales. Both finished them in a day but still good fun to play :)
