Seller is brinn1, says complete but missing box, instructions are PAL while game is ntsc. I asked about it and this is most of the response:

You don't need to know where the box is, it's not your concern, its unavailable. If you want to call it partially complete because the orginal box isn't there and a plastic snes box is used, then go ahead. I'm not getting into a semantic battle with you. Enough wasted time. I have over 3200 ebay total positives from maybe 4500 ebay transactions over 7 years. Once in a while I run into some one like you. I understand your question about pal vs ntsc manual is important to you, but the manual cover is shown and I already told you its in several languages including English. If that fact and the cover itself doesn't help you out and its that important, don't bid. The cartridge is the ntsc cart, not pal. What you see is what you get. That's why I don't use stock photos. If you are still not satisfied, please do not email any more and please do not bid on my auctions.

Just do a search on his name (and some variations) and you'll find out. He's also the one that called Achika "Hitler" and was notifying other ebay sellers about auctions that were being mentioned here.

Oh, so the good doctor brinn1 is still around eh? After reading that crazy thread, I'm staying as far away as possible from that guy at all times.

And even if the aero is a reseal, it's pretty cheap and I'd love to have a complete copy.

by the way i have good reason to believe that brinn1 is not really even a doctor! Some body (I can't name) states he was last seen fixing a plumbing problem at his girlfriends house. This guy is a creap. Wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. Glad we got him nailed ASSHOLE

Rich, good catch I saw this a few days ago and realized it was a PAL manual but didnt email the guy. Thanks for informing the DP peeps about this

Indeed, I saw right away that it was a PAL instruction manual. The symbol on it is the funny looking one Nintendo used for their PAL games, where as NTSC games had their own symbol.

Why not just mention really quickly that the game is NTSC but the manual is PAL? And why say it's complete where there is no box?

I don't have any prior contact with this guy, so I sent him a question asking him the above. I'll let you know if he responds. :)

I just think that he's being a little dishonest. Would'nt a power seller know better? I'd rather state EXACTLY what I'm selling then risk PayPal chargebacks, negatives, etc.

I imagine that brinn1 will be raging on the boards again if he finds out we've been talking about him. As I reccall he was blocked and returned under several user names to harass and rage for several days or a week or more. It was pretty wild! LOL

edit: About that Aero 2, it is possible that it is not a reseal. I have a William's Arcade's Greatest Hits that is authentically sealed but has a different seal than the H seal. I believe it might be a majesco re-release but I am not sure. I tried to get pictures but it turned out real blurry. This seal goes across the back of the box long ways and is an overlap of about 1 inch. I am almost 100% sure that it is authentic because inside the plastic seal there are some small paper scraps made from the original box cut that did not settle out before it was sealed up. You would have to see it to know what I am talking about. I'll try to get better pictures but the seal is very hard to show. If the Aero 2 has that seal it might be authentic FYI if the person who bought it is a board member.

I remember the name, but it took a google search to remember him. As I recall, he first posted on the zsnes board with a question on sealed snes games, and how to to prove they were authentic. I told him to come here, and he did. He was really pushy and I was forced to lock his thread on the board.

from my experience with majesco sealed games: I have found NOT ONE with an h-seal. I bought three sealed copies at a local thrift, thinking they were all reseals because of the shitty packaging. I opened all three only to find a MINT brand new game (with the ugly all black and whtie instructions). Those three were Anamanics, Super Black Bass (or some bass game) and castlevania IV.

Goddamn you majesco for manufacturing crappy cartridges. Half the time when i buy one of these used they don't work... at all.

true the auction is kind of shadily worded, but i don't think the average videogamer will be bidding on this, and i would hope any serious bidder would at least look at the picture and figure out what was missing (although i got rather excited seeing the listing title until i opened up the auction and saw it was crap)

Brinn1 published 14 guidelines for snes sealing on a web site www.gooddeals.com. It was a length and thought out piece. You guys should read it. He also tried to post the same guidelines here on DP but no one would even comment. I think he explains well the answer to the member's question above about whether the game is factory sealed. If you want to know snes sealing, read Brinn1's article. He has devoted alot of time to writing and researching the subject.

2nd, he may be questionalble in the fun n games auction but how many of you guys have 800 straight positives without one negative? That's not easy to do. It doesn't sound like he antagonizes that many people with a 99.5% record after 7 years on ebay. I assume all of you have similar records? Cause you really wouldn't want to "throw stones" if you don't.

I bought one thing from the guy and he was great to work with. Good emails and fast shipping and I got exactly what was in the picture and description.

I think the guy is top rate, I know Bronty2 and know he has had many good dealings with the guy.

I also asked him about DP. Said they were a bunch of teens who forgot their adderal and he was thru with the site. Don't think he'll be back.

All I know Is he's my kind of seller. AND DON'T START THINKING I'M BRINN1, I MEAN SOME ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO SAY SOMETHING GOOD ABOUT THE GUY IN THE MIDST OF ALL THE RUBBLE.
