I do remember an old brick-style Game Boy - painted blue - showing up on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. So keep collecting those pre-GBA carts - they'll still have trade value in the 24th century!

Do you recall the episode? I have most of them on tape, and I'd love to go through them and see if I can find that. :)

I remember Jake Sisko having it in a briefcase or something - I'm thinking second season. Don't recall the exact episode. Considering the number of Trek fansites out there, I bet you could google this one and come up with an answer pretty quick.

No wonder I did'nt see it -- I really did'nt care for DS9 the first two seasons and even when I've gone back I've only been able to stomach a few of them. I felt it was too much like a soap opera. But when they changed the writers I started watching at the very last episode of the season and watched every one after. That explains why I had no clue what you are talking about. ;)

Er...pretty much the same writers. Then again I liked the first couple of seasons. The big change with season 3 was that TNG was off the air, so they could bring in a bigger ship (i.e. the Defiant) and change things up a bit.
But there's whole Star Trek threads waiting for this sidetrack. :D

I can't remember the movie (a Spike Lee film?), but a kid has a Sega CDX hanging around his neck for part of the movie.

There's already a thread for this topic of game sightings in movies and TV shows.

It was actually a Saturn in Mallrats... there's a bit in Swingers where they're playing NHL hockey on Genesis.

In the army now.
A game gear was in the movie Airheads, the secretary was playing it.
Numerous other movies have kids playing games, but do not actually show systems, such as Mars Attacks or Breakdown.
