i never owned a cell phone, as my own room line is 99% telemarketing rape. however, going through a new magazine a week or so ago, i discovered what appears to be some beat 'em up style games the owners of "the mob" cell phone. along with what appears to be some shooters and platformers.
anyone use the service? gimme details

I've downloaded a neat little top-down shooter for my phone called "Brave Shot".

Get this: It was actually developed by Square Enix. It's a pretty damn decent game for a cell phone.

I believe that FFVII: Before Crisis is a mobile phone game too, but only on those super-badass DoCoMo PHS phones in japan that make toast and give BJs or whatever....Damn US cell phones.

And what kind of phone do you have/provider? AT&T doesn't offer OutRun for my QD...

I have Tecmo Bowl on my Samsung A670. I'm sure other carriers have it, but mine is Verizon for anybody interested. It cost $6 or so.

He most likely has a Ngage or another Symbian Series 60 mobiles ( Nokia 6600, 7650, 3650, 7650)
And he is playing on a Megadrive/Genesis Emulator called Picodrive

If you lose at these games, the cell phone gives you brain-cancer. Actually, I made that up. But you're still going to get brain-cancer.

This might lead somewhere http://wireless.ign.com/.

It's IGN though, so that somewhere may end up being redirected to an ad page every other click, followed by a subsequent hatred of people who give you advice on the internet.

Have fun, just... just keep it away from your cerebellum.

Going to bump this up. Just got a new cell phone and dove into Double Dragon EX. Fantastic little (key word: little) beat-em-up when played at full speed.

My obvious problems are with the controls. I remember seeing some sort of controller for these before. It attached onto the bottom to turn it into a basic controller. This would be far more comfortable, but I can't seem to find any. I have a LG VX6100 if that means anything.

I've always wondered which aspect of the N-gage sold (or didn't sell) the system. Were people buying it for a cell-phone, or were people buying it for gaming. I don't know many people who use both.
I can't really fathom playing any games on any cell-phone though. I reckon it would really cramp up my hand.

Your problem with the telemarketers calling...register your number with www.donotcall.gov, it's the national DO NOT CALL list! It worked for me, and it's free!

I've got a few, like Tetris, Bust a Move, and Mr.Driller. All are very easy to play on the phone.
