Well hey, considering you had zero offers to start, my offer was far higher than the preceding highest offer. And it's not that low, actually, considering that the game is unplayable in the form in which you're selling.

With a response like that, no wonder so many people don't like to just "make an offer". I don't generally lay out prices in my threads, because I'm willing to deal a little and pricing can take time, but when I get offers lower than I'd like, I try politely countering. After that response, there's no way someone is going to give you a good offer man.

He wasn't talking about rejecting the offer, I didn't even expect you to accept it. I was trying to do you a favor by setting a starting point. He's probably talking about the rude way in which you did it and the fact that you rejected me as a trade partner out of hand because you didn't like my initial offer. Considering I was the only person offering, that's the worst possible negotiating tactic.

It's like when someone pm's me and asks for a price on a certain game and I respond with "$20 shipped?" Then they relpy "Sorry, that's too much" Why don't people try saying "I'm looking to spend $15, would you take that?" The whole thing really annoys me.

:roll: Goodness Gracious, get over it already! You people are a tad bit sensitive. Just looking to pick on someone I see. Plus, I don't even know what this ddockery person has to do with this at all....did you make an offer? Are you interested? Or, just a little bit too much time on your hands and want to get your nose stuck in where it doesn't belong?
I'm not sure why you choose to drag this whole thing on, so the guy didn't get a R7 WITH THE INSTRUCTIONS for $20 and then giving me the honor of taking care of the shipping charges. And, yeah, maybe I didn't "take him out for a dance and a drink" to break it to him that the offer was a joke, so what? I also don't think that my reply was all that big of a deal. It was a simple fact that with that kind of offer in cash, what sort of trade would he be proposing? I had no idea that we walk on these eggshells around here.
