As much as I hate Factory Sealed games... that auction is nothing but AMAZING! :eek 2: There are some serious rarities in there, and I am sure this thing will get a ton of watchers.

Dude wtf? It's called sarcasm. Plus, someone will always say there reseals. Even if Jesus himself was selling it. That's why he said can he be the first one to say it.

In case you didn't know he was (partly at least) referring to my post in another topic.

I wasn't referring to anyone's post in particular - you need to loose your persecution complex! I don't recall even having seen a post from you before ...

And I will quite happily acknowledge my ignorance of all things NES - I know nothing about NES whatsoever. I am just amused by the way in which every single thread that starts with a link to a 'sealed' game is immediately followed by about three people declaring that it is 'obviously' a re-seal, and then a lengthy debate.

I just wanted to be first to start the furore on this one.

Mission accomplished! :D

Considering the 21 game auction last week and the bids on that, I would not be surprised if it sells. At what price I don't know.

I always wonder why people don't list these things one by one or in smaller lots. He really limits his customer base by selling them in one lot for that price.

Perhaps he is not looking to sell the whole lot. The auction will attract a lot of attention, and he has all his other auctions advertised in this one.

Also, he will probably receive a lot of offers for individual games from that lot - which he can then sell if he so wishes, without final value fees etc.

Personally, I would assume that this is what he is up to. And if someone buys the whole lot he gets a nice cash windfall.

This is what I think too. Although, he may just be very attached to them, and if he were to list in smaller lots, or individually, he may actually sell a few. Some people would rather the whole lot go in one round than to part with but a few of their precious.

They are stored in a plastic cover/ protector. I have seen them for sale before(the protectors) , but I dont know where to find them anymore :/

You figure with a BIN like that , they would take some of the raritys out of the protective case and show some of the factory seal closer though. Not that I am doubting they are indeed factory sealed. (I wouldnt want to get jumped on :P )

Hey guys and gals.
New guy here. No cool avitars or witty siglines yet LOL

I bought a couple games from this guy tonight.
He is a bigtime NES seller- I would venture to say probably one of the biggest there is. Makes my modest collection of 300+ look like chump change (as i'm sure do a lot of collections around here)

Anyway, I too never buy sealed games, but when i saw sealed copies of Aladdin Bignose Freaks Out and Aladdin MicroMachines (in addition to a sealed Aladdin Deck Enhancer), I almost freaked out (right after I bought a couple)

This is either a once in a lifetime sort of deal where he is liquidating some rare and important stock, or there is something "odd".
Did he just all of a sudden "find" someone who had a sealed case of Aladdin games in some storehouse somewhere?
I don't know.
Either way, i'll post a report.

And to end my first post which has already been a bit long winded, i'll tell a little tale...

Once upon a time there was a guy who collected PEZ dispensers.
He was stunned to check ebay one day and see a seller selling a good number of some of the greatest rarities in that hobby.
He also had a seemingly endless supply of them...
He bought them, and realized a few months later as he watched others buy them that the originial "rarities" had been duplicated in Asia, were totally indistinguishable from the originals and were now being sold on the open market.

Take that same story and replace "PEZ" dispensers with "Cast Iron Coin Banks".

Take that story again, and replace "Cast Iron Coin banks" with "Rare War Medals"

etc...

Accusation? Nope.
Conspiracy theorizing? Maybe a little, just for sport
I am saying that whenever a collectable reaches a certain point in pricing, it will be duplicated. NES games, probably to a lesser degree since the upstart costs to make NES games is so high, but I do believe that as this hobby progresses, we will see the day when NIB mint copies of Bubble Bobble 2 or Dragon Warrior 4 are there to be had for $19.99

Either way, i'll report when my Sealed-In-Box A+ Rarity Aladdin games arrive.

Did you freak out just like BigNose freaks out? lol ;) j/k
I have also bought many games from this guy. He ships fast, but he never gave me feedback evendoe i mailed him about it.
Imo, he have overpriced the aladdin enhancer games/set. Now he takes $79.99 or something just for the enhancer! I bought the complete aladdin enhancer set with all 6 games (yes, all factory sealed :)) for $75.00.
He wants $189.95 for the complete set, but its allowed to try of course hehe. He also sold Final Fantasy 3 for SNES factory sealed some months ago, went for around $800 !!! Saw it later on Ebay, then it went for around $215 or something.
I wonder where he get all the sealed games from. Must be a local shop who have alot in stock from the old NES days.

Hmm .. hasn't he dropped the BIN by a coupla Gs?? I'm sure it was higher than that when I first looked - perhaps he really is trying to offload them all in one go!

I will jump in here then and second that! (Damn, beat me to it)

Come on, seriously... What a scam and a half!!! The easiest console games you could possibly get away with resealing. All it would take would be a heat wrapping machine and maybe an hour of someone's time to reseal a load of NES games which they may have previously bought for a few hundred dollars the week before...

Scam, scam, scam...

It's just as bad as all those people who reseal Star Ocean II's and original black label Final Fantasy VII's...

Im not sure he have resealed these games, but you never know.
As mentioned, I have bought some games from the seller, both sealed and non-sealed. Some on the non-sealed was so to say 100% mint. He could have resealed these and claimed that they where factory sealed, but he didnt.

Vroomfunkel was more or less joking. I've bought sealed games from this guy before, and they are legit.

I have no reason to think these are anything but the real deal.

Does anyone else think that $80 is way too much to ship this? Also, I know it won't sell for that price reguardless. I mean, only half of those titles go for more than $100 on e-bay and that would be $3200. There are titles in there that aren't worth $20 sealed. Captian Skyhawk, World Games, Jordan vs. Bird just to name a few. Those titles aren't worth a crap. Geez.

If I was able to get my hands on this lot, I would seek out a sealed NES, have them all gift wrapped, and put them under this year's christmas tree. On christmas day I would rip them all open with delight and re-live my childhood. :)
