This shows how clueless I am. When looking at the SMB3 pic on a previous topic it got me thinking about this. Now I'd always heard of this, but I know that the warp pipes are the "world 9", but where did this world 9 thing come from? EGM April Fools Joke? Or am I really clueless and it does exist. x_x What is the matrix neo? I think this is about time for Head explodin' Hitler to make an appearance. Its like Sheng Long for SF2 all over again!

Odd you mention that, in SM Advance 4, they called the Warp Zone "World 9" now

in the original, when you are in warp zone, it says world 9 in the lower corner

yeah, like I said, i knew that, but there was always a rumor that it was a real world. I know it doesn't exist, but am i the only one who's heard of this? I used to know a couple of people who were put over on by some dude too.
like I Said I may be completely clueless on this. This could also be in a bigger topic too, like GAMING MYTHS or some such. You know, like Hidden Palace Zone in Sonic 2 (which BTW, was only in the beta. the code is still present in the final, but you knew that already.)
