Metal Gear Solid 3 $19.99 at KB

I was at my local KayBee last night looking through a bunch of games that they had laid out on a table, mostly new releases. As I was sifting through them I noticed that MGS:3 had a price tag of $19.99, surely I thought this must have been a mistake and happily brought it to the counter to pay $20 bucks for it :D

Turns out it wasn't a mistake and that's how much they're selling them for. Is this a nationwide thing? Or is this store just wanting to move them out? They had a bunch left..

Yup it's a nationwide deal. :D From what I have heard KB is trying to get out of the game business so they have been slashing prices on games as of late. Only wish I was able to find a copy at that price point.

I guess the weird thing was, all of their other new titles were regular priced at $49.99 except for Metal Gear Solid.. that's why I thought it was a mistake at first. But I was very happy that's for sure! 8-)

I've seen MGS for Gamecube for $19.99 at several places, including Best Buy. I think it's about to go to Player's Choice status.

damn man, the only kb in my area went out of business. that is too bad, because i would have liked to have mgs 3 for 19.99

Indeed, I'm going to a mall that has a KB in it tommorow. I'll take a look and hope I get lucky. :)
