I recently bought a SNES controllers lot on Ebay. They are new from factory, but not original.
I recived the controllers today and when i was going to try them i got problems.
On all controllers, only the B button worked. I tried to play Contra and when i hold down the B button, i was jumping. When i was in the air i could press the Y button and he started to shot. But the Y button only worked when i hold down the B button.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong?

It seems like there is a factory error, but its strange that its like this on all 12 controllers. I have bought a SNES controller lot from the seller before and then all controllers worked fine.

Have you tried using the controllers on a different SNES or have you tried using a known working controller on the test SNES?

I've tried original controllers and they work great. Also tried them on 2 diffrent SNES. Also tried a 3rd party turbo controller, also work great.

I just did a discovery. I have to hold the up botton to press start. And i have to hold the A button down to get the right button to work hehe.
Looks like bad soldering to me :(
Guess i have to return all controllers.
