Was there ever a prototype of this game for NES? What about a translation from the famicom version? I was going to have a couple of reproductions made and I wanted to get this game done but I can't find it anywhere.

I'd like to offer you my congratulations. Now, I know dick about Deja Vu II, but for starting a thread that has something to do with the Deja Vu liscence, you get my "real man" award.

I can't find the Famicom version in our database, nor in my own notes, nor in my incredibly extensive ROMs collection. I also find it odd that a popular European game would only be released in Japanese. Think you can post the ROM?

I think he's just trying to find out if a ROM exists at all. Given the state of NES gaming after 1991, it's just as likely that the game was finished (and never released) than it was never finished and just scrapped in favor of some Super NES project.

I believe Deja Vu II was released on Game Boy Color. I don't think there has been an NES version found yet.

Deja Vu I and II, The Ace Harding files (or something like that) was released on the Color Game Boy.

Both are fine games, but I never did complete Deja Vu II because last I looked, the computer versions did NOT have you complete them the same way exactly.

I liked part I better, just for the record, but I sure do miss those point and click adventure games. Most people like Shadowgate or Uninvited better, but the Deja Vu series interested me the most. Probably because I'm a sucker for old fashioned detective stories.
