Playstation2 DVD Disc?

At the thrift today I bought a PS2 disc..... and the disc front is completely silver with this written

DVD PLAYER
LECTEUR DVD
Version 2.10

and then some copyright stuff and the Sony logos.

Is this some update for the Sony DVD player or something?

Could it be the disc that comes with the remote control?

yeah thats what it is. comes with the PS2 remote it's just new dvd drivers so the remote can use some new functions like faster rewind and fast-foward
