Question about japanese mega drive 2 and genesis

so I know this (http://www.newgame.ru/16bit/Photos/md2.jpg) is how the original japanese megadrive 2 looks like... but the Genesis 2 does look like this? I have the exact same version (with those grey switch and blue button and the red slot) but it doesn't say mega drive 2 and 16-bit at the bottom, instea it says Genesis in the upper part of the slot.
is this some pirate thing or it's real?

The Genesis 2 has a power button you have to push in instead of a switch you move back and forth.

Also the Genesis 2 was all black except for the "Genesis" and "SEGA" logos.

Yeah, I know... I also have the Genesis 2 all black with the power buttom w/red light. But I also have this one that looks exactly like the japanese mega drive 2, just it says Genesis.

And sorry I have not camera ATM... I'll try to take picture soon to post!
