The only solution I can think of is the Powermate knob. Anyone try it or use somethng else?

Hmmm, handle the knob, eh? Shouldn't this post be in the Pub? LOL
Seriously, I tried this once with the keyboard and mouse, and it sucks, so I don't bother. :(
Heh heh... knob.

Keyboard and mouse is the way I do it...it works ok, but not as good as the real thing.

I know Waveflack modified a SNES mouse with a knob for Arkanoid...maybe a similar adaptation could be done for the knob you seek?

I used to play Tron with a joystick and a trakball. The button on the trakball was right where your thumb falls, so it made for pretty good Tron. I can't replicate that on my current control panel though, because the buttons are too far away from the trakball.
I haven't heard anyone mention the Powermate knob in a while...does anyone use it? I thought that thing would be pretty sweet for Tempest and Arkanoid, but I ended up getting a real spinner w/ my control panel instead.
