This is so weird. It is a clear memory card for the Dreamcast that has an LCD screen. No buttons or other functions, so it's not a VMU. I asked the seller about this device and yes, that picture is of the front of it, and the only brand he could find on it was "Winbond" on the circuit board.

I've never seen one of these before. Anyone?

Well, winbond certainly isn't the producer or manufacturer of the VMU, they're a memory chip company that stopped producting chips nearly a year ago. Their Winbond BH-5 memory modules (in select Corsair, Kingston, and Mushkin memory sticks[Mushkin LvlII PC3500 matched pair... :eek 2: ]) demand the absolute most outragous prices because of their extreme overclockability.

Next in line are the BH-6, but that's really got nothing to do with this. Couldn't help ya otherwise!

The shell is simply molded like that, you wouldn't be seeing the circuit board underneath or the two red LEDs if there was a screen.

Yup. I've seen a ton of these. They are the standard 3rd party memory card mold for the DC. That particular memory card is a performance one that has two saves on it. I have one sitting right in front of me now.

Interestingly enough, the same mold was used on 1X memory cards and they left the button on the top of it on it...
