2002 has been a good year for gaming. The return of Metroid, Mario, Fox McCloud, Toe Jam and Earl and many others has brought great glee to the faces of gamers around the world, as well as a whole host of new franchises being launched, such as Animal Crossing, Splinter Cell and Ratchet and Clank. The videogame industry has also been heralded as the most profitable form of visual enertainment, and is steadily closing in on being the most widely enjoyed electronic past-time in the world.
But thats all in the past now and its time to look to the future. What three games are you looking forward to for each system in 2003, or are you still hoping to find that elusive last cart to finish off your collection? My list goes like this:

Gamecube:
Zelda
Viewtiful Joe
Soul Calibur 2

Xbox:
Halo 2
The Hulk
Kameo

PS2:
FFXI
Teenage Mutant Hero(Ninja :P) Turtles
Resident Evil Online

Colecovision:
Space Invaders Collection
Pac-man Collection ?

I can't think of a third at the moment, but I'll bet that there's another one out there.

Don't forget the customary price wars on the console. I can see this:
XBox and PS2 priced at $150
GC at $100-$120
GBA under $50.

And many more great games selling for under $20.

And don't forget that new GBA adapter for GC!

I am really looking forward to a Super Mario Kart game for the Gamecube.

A wild dream here, but if anybody from Nintendo reads here, and you want the game idea of the year..... here it is:

RELEASE A NES ANTHOLOGY FOR THE GAMECUBE.

SAme as the Activision Anthology, only every cart released for the Nintendo, wild dream I know but I have high expectations. I am also willing to pay a premium for a game of this nature.

Back to the real world, the device to hook up to the Cube to play GBA games will be a definate must have as well.

I also hope to obtain some good games for the NES, SNES, and Colovision. They will probably be my focus on older stuff.
