well - what do you say to this? Besides the fact that some of you might to bid on it, I sure dont since I am not in the US and all...
First of all, its the console that comes with the Zapper Gun. Is that like a re-release of some sort? Because the original release sure didnt have this..
And are there re-releases of other consoles as well? I hvae been looking for an originally wrapped SNES for some time, and some show up on ebay, but they always seem to be the re-release with the Super Gameboy Adapter. Does anyone have a site with pics of the original wrappings of consoles?

Yes but the first NES kit was the "Deluxe Set" (the one with ROB, Duck Hunt Gyromite and a grey zapper). Shortly after that, Nintendo release the "Control Deck Set" which consist of the console only, after they put SMB1 with it to make it more attractive. Almost in the same time, the "Action Set" (like the one in your link) was release with the combo SMB1/DH and with the grey zapper. I think the controversy happend there when some parents tell Nintendo that the "grey" zapper look to much like a real gun. So Nintendo, re-release the Action Set with the "orange" zapper.
The Action Set his the most commun NES kit you can find (i think it stay in store between 1987 and 1989).
In the SMB3 craze, Nintendo release the "Challenge Set", it was exactly like the old Control Deck set, but SMB3 was included. Good idea to take out the last NES toaster out of the warehouse.
The more rare release it's the "Sports Set" (console, with a NES Satellite, 4 joypads, a combo Super Spike V'Ball / Nintendo World Cup cart). I don't even seen this kit in store in Canada. It haved a short life, i think it was release just before the Challenge Set but him not sure.
Finally, in the early 90's, the final release with the brand new Top Loader.
i hope you like my little story 8-)
I forgot the "Power Set" which consist of a console with the power pad and the triple cart SMB/DH/WCTM. It came out just before the Challenge Set.

It's been around for a while. Nintendo quietly switched the gun color for safety reason but the light gun set has been selling for a long time. If that set had separate Duck Hunt/SMB cart, that would be strange as Duck Hunt hadn't been sold separately for a couple years before the orange barrel came out. And that console looks like standard NES deck, with the cart flap onm the right side. The strange line on the top appears to be fold in plastic wrap.

IIRC those ware the last of the SNES that came out before the redesigned SNES 2 console. I have the box and docs for the early SNES console when they came with *two* controllers and Super Mario World. I think the SNES were wrapped as well. There were a version of colsole only with 2 controllers, console only with 1 controller, and F-Zero as pack in all before the SNES 2 came out. I can't recall if SNES 2 ever had a pack in controller but it always had one controller.

That I don't know.
