...Do you ever wear the Classic "doom trooper" get-up? All the Screenshots and Renders I've seen just show the two guys in Military clothes.

Doom 1 for gba isnt a bad game, but its missing some of the original game maps and enemies...the framrate is kinda slow SOMETIMES....

Doom 2 was ported by a different company, and while it isnt perfect, it looks more faithful to the original game. IŽd buy doom 2, and if you STILL want more action, then get doom 1

"DOOM I is a direct port of the Jaguar version of DOOM"

Does this mean that there is no music, until you beat the game, at which point there are no sound FX?

Actually they fixed that error finally in the GBA DOOM, so the SFX and BGM are playing perfectly now

I was very sad when I popped this in and noticed a large lack of MUSIC. Oh well, the originals on dosbox can't be beat ;D.

My biggest problem with the GBA Doom is the green blood.

YOU! OBEY THE FIST! ;)

I am so glad that I still have Doom 1 and Doom 2 for the PC. I've been playing them quite a bit nowadays without cheating, and it's one hell of a ride.

I still have DOOM II PC somewhere... Haven't seen it in years though. It was the post-DOOM '95 launcher release and had the Wolfenstein level in it (unless that was all versions...)

I just wanted a few good GBA games to make use of DS's bright screens... but I guess I'll just wait for the Xbox version.

1) all versions of doom 2 had TWO hidden wolfenstein levels

2) After reading this thread, I played again doom 2 for gba last night...its pretty good. IŽd buy it if i were you...

Well it wasn't hidden in mine... DOOM '95 launcher had a level select. Also had an area where 4 Commander Keen dolls were hanging from nooses?

Thats the end of the second hidden wolfenstein level :D

Finding those levels for yourself is a lot more fun than selecting them on a menu ;)

The second Wolf level was a remake of a real Wolfenstein Boss level. It is super cool. The Commander Keen reference was just an awesome bonus.

You know, I thought I had set the blood color to red when I was playing GBA Doom and Doom II. But maybe I'm getting that confused with Pinball of the Dead.
