Atari Inquiries; just making sure

Any Atari system can be played with any Atari games, right? What I'm saying is that there are 3 Atari systems (2600, 5200, and 7800) and any of the systems will play all the games even the ones made for the other systems right?? Just making sure.

No the 2600 only plays 2600 cartridges and the 5200 only plays 5200 cartridges but they have an adapter that lets you play the 2600 carts the 7800 can play both 2600 and 7800 cartridges.

someone needs to make an adaptor to play 5200 games on a 7800...and a controller adaptor too..
